Objetives:

To support basic and clinical research in areas related to the major causes of morbidity and mortality of women in Puerto Rico.

 

To promote interdisciplinary and collaborative research projects in women's health.

Objective:

To develop an epidemiological profile of females aged 35 to 80 regarding the prevalence of major risk factors for cardio- vascular disease by health status, demographic characteristics and menopausal status of women in Puerto Rico.
